Of course it is necessary about maintenance CD type electric hoist daily, for smoothly usage it. Regarding how to extend the service life of the CD type electric hoist, we will takl about the maintenance notes, please check the following.

I.Operating Environment Conditions

The CD type electric hoist is suitable for the following environmental conditions:
Altitude: Not exceeding 1000 meters
Ambient Temperature: -20°C to +40°C
Ambient Humidity: Not more than 85% (at 25°C)
Power Supply Requirements: Three-phase AC 380V, 50Hz, voltage fluctuation at motor terminals ±10%

Installation Requirements: Generally for indoor installation; outdoor installation requires a rain cover.

II. Maintenance Specifications
1. Daily Maintenance (Every Day)
Cleaning: Clean the equipment surface from dust and dirt using a clean cloth or brush.
Check fasteners: Check the tightness of bolts at the motor base, reducer end cover, hook nut, etc.
Check wire rope: Ensure the wire rope is neatly arranged on the drum without derailment.
Check brake: Brake linings should not be excessively worn, and the brake gap should be uniform (0.5-1mm).

2. Periodic Lubrication

3. Brake Adjustment
√ Adjust the braking torque when the following situations occur:
√ The rated load slips excessively during lifting, exceeding the specified value.
√ The friction lining wears down, reducing the braking torque.
√ The brake is too tight, making starting difficult.
√ The travel motor brakes too sharply or fails to brake.
Adjustment Method:
Remove the motor rear cover.
Loosen the screw at the motor shaft end.
Rotate the locknut to adjust the braking torque (rotate 30°-90° clockwise or counterclockwise).
After adjustment, check the axial play of the motor shaft; generally, it should be about 1.5mm.
4. Wire Rope Inspection and Replacement
Wire Rope Discard Criteria:
√ The number of visible broken wires reaches the specified standard.
√ Local concentration of broken wires occurs or one strand breaks.
√ The wire rope diameter is reduced by 10% due to wear or corrosion.
√ The wire rope exhibits abnormalities like birdcaging, kinking, wave deformation, etc.

V. Common Faults and Troubleshooting
1. Brake Failure
√ Cause: Oil contamination on the brake friction surface; insufficient spring pressure.
√ Action: Clean off oil; tighten the spring.
2. Difficulty Starting
√ Cause: Low voltage; brake spring too tight.
√ Action: Check voltage and motor; appropriately loosen the spring.
3. Abnormal Noise During Operation
√ Cause: Low supply voltage; loss of one phase; seizure due to rust between rear end cover and brake disc.

√ Action: Check fuses and contactors; clean rust from the rear end cover.

VI. Safety Precautions
1. Six Don'ts for Lifting
√ Don't lift loads exceeding the rated capacity.
√ Don't lift if signals are unclear, weight is unknown, or lighting is dim.
√ Don't lift if slings/attachments are not securely fastened.
√ Don't lift with side-pull or oblique angles.
√ Don't lift if people are on the load or there are loose items.

√ Don't lift explosive items like oxygen cylinders, acetylene generators, etc.

2. Emergency Handling
√ If the brake fails, keep the DOWN button pressed until the load lands safely. Do NOT cut power abruptly.
√ In case of abnormal shutdown, immediately cut off the power, troubleshoot the fault. Operation with known faults is prohibited.

3. Personnel Qualification Requirements

Operators must receive professional training and obtain the "Special Equipment Operator License," and be familiar with the equipment's performance and safety regulations. New installations or major repairs require acceptance inspection by the technical supervision department. Regular safety inspections are mandatory.
Through standardized operation and maintenance, the CD type electric hoist can work safely and reliably, effectively improving production efficiency and extending the equipment's service life.
